If that is the case, it's a very old fabrication. I know the seat is wrong and someone has shorten the stem, but other parts have the same degree of oxidation. Aw..and it had a rear brake with clamps, brake lever was missing. Thanks for the info!

Probably a bit of a language barrier here. I thought you meant it's modified from a Peugeot frame (the arch inside the frame) or main parts changed. But it's just made by Peugeot..

Hi,
How is the arch fixed, by a welding? The picture is not so clear
Could U have a look on the bottom of the front tube or on tn the top of the seatpost tube to search the bicycle number?
Could you show some other detail pictures, bottom bracket, hubs, specific mark on the rim ...

Couldn't find any numbers on the bike, it's quite oxidated. Thought someone could tell this right away because of the frame. I'll try to find the time and give an acid bath. Maybe find something new. And new photos, those are taken from another forum, that's why the low resolution. It came without wheels.

Hi,

I had a similar bicycle - also "fabrication peugeot" (that means the frame was made by Peugeot to be finally assembled by a workshop, who sold it under their own brand.)

I'm not sure but I think the reeinforcement could have been added by the workshop. It's likely as there are many variations and you could buy these parts from catalogues.

As there were many of these small workshops in France we maybe never find out who sold our bicycles.

I found a mark on the cranks. Well, that could also just be the manufacturer of the crank...

Thanks for explaining that out. That seems to be the case. Very similar chainring and fork than on your bike. Makes sense.
