I have recently acquired this Alleluia tandem and have almost finished its restoration. I believe it was made in the late 1940's to early 1950's but many of the parts look to be pre 1940.
I have just tried it out for the first time and it is a very comfortable ride.
If anyone has any information on this make or a clearer idea of when it was made it would be appreciated.

What a wonderful ""doooooouble bike" !!!

It's good to touch the green, green grass of home
Yes, they'll all come to meet me, arms reaching, smiling sweetly

Bonjour.
Voici le mien:

Ils me semblent tous les 2 assez similaires (tubes, raccords, fourche).
Le mien serait équipé d’un moteur produit entre 1944 et 1946.
Tu dois être dans le vrai quand tu parles de fin des années 40 à début des années 50.

Great machine, I love the engine. Does it go.
Your one has given me a few ideas to complete my restoration. All i have don to mine is acid clean the frame and lacquer it, I had to respoke the front wheel and replace half the spokes in the back wheel. It has a 4 speed block but I can only get 2 of them at the moment.
